Distance Studies
South Carolina School of Midwifery offers Distance Learning to those who wish to pursue
midwifery outside of the state of South Carolina.
* Distance self-study is available to SC residents, also.
Birth Passages, as a comprehensive midwifery curriculum, covers every aspect of
midwifery care, and prepares you for a national exam or your state exam.
We recommend that you check your state regulations or with local, practicing
midwives regarding legal requirements for your state.
Curriculum Outline:
*Complete Registration Process - Fee $150.00
*Required deposit of $500.00 is non-refundable, however it is applied to total amount. Total amount is $4680.00 plus $150.00 reg.fee
*There are 70 lessons, each lesson is $60.00 when you are ready for lesson(s)just mail the amount for how many lessons you wish to recieve.
* All lessons are mailed out within 24 hours.
*At this pace, course work must be completed in three years. However, if you
choose to study at a faster pace, you may.
*If 6 months goes by with no inter-action in your account, then you will be withdrawn from the school.
*A diploma will be issued upon completion of the course.
This is a SC DHEC approved curriculum. Those who wish to license in South
Carolina can take the NARM exam, on completion of the course and apprenticeship,
and 100% of our students have passed the NARM exam!
